CIA, otherwise known as Christians in Action is one of the many clubs offered at school. Christians in Action is a club where students or even staff members can worship, sing praise songs, and learn individual lessons based on the theme of the year, for example, last year’s theme was Deep Roots.

CIA meets on Friday morning in room 212 at 7:10. The club also meets in front of the school, near the flagpole sometimes to pray together.

Within CIA there are officers that direct the club. Leaders for the club are chosen based on a member’s cooperation and attendance in the club. Previous leaders will observe the development of members and decide who to pass the position onto for the next school year.

For more information on Christians In Action, students can look for fliers or talk to co-leaders Eileen Murphy and Beth Ikeda.

“Everyone is welcome to CIA; our club gives the opportunity to students to grow closer to God. Students do not have to be Christian; they can merely join just in interest.” Murphy said.
