Around 1 PM on the 25th of September, there was a suspected gas leak in the science hallway at Chantilly. An odor coming through the vents was noticed and students were evacuated from classrooms. A hazmat team was called and the fire marshall arrived. Several students complained of and displayed alarming symptoms such as burning throats and eyes, nausea and uncontrollable coughing. No hazardous substance was found, but investigation continues, helmed by building engineer Jeff Miller.
