With the football season behind them, the Chantilly fan base, known as the Purple Platoon, hit the indoor bleachers to cheer on Chantilly’s basketball teams. The Purple Platoon hopes to transfer its success in rallying the student body and boosting the moral of Chantilly’s athletes from the football field to the basketball court. In order to mass-mobilize the student body, e-mails and Facebook messages have been used to inform the fans about upcoming games and new cheers.
