Crowds of people, bright lights, the babble of different languages and the sound of traffic coming from all directions are all characteristics of New York City.  The photography and drama students went to New York from March 9-11while the journalism students stayed from March 13-17.

Bilas bases musical on school experience

To show the enormous amount of talent here at Chantilly, a student has begun writing his own musical. Junior Alex Bilas began writing a musical called “Alex the Musical” after a simple comment that gave him the initial idea.

A family through and through

The drama department’s show “I Remember Mama,” which debuted from Nov. 10-12, was a great success.  Compiled with an experienced cast and an amazing set, the play was a huge hit.

Capping it all off: Drama puts on “Stage Door” for Cappies performance

Drama performed “Stage Door” on April 29 as their final main stage production as an entry to the Cappies, the regional awards for high school drama.

The Blackbox Art Intensive is a new style of performance for the drama department. The comedy is being performed in the Blackbox theatre. Instead of the normal set up, the audience is on stage during the entire play. The play is being performed on May 19, May 20 and May 21.
