Every rap artist has to start somewhere. Mac Miller started with humble beginnings in Pittsburgh. Eminem spent the majority of his adolescence in Detroit. Lil’ Wayne started rapping as an 8-year-old in a small neighborhood in New Orleans. The list goes on.

“Nothing But The Beat” provides songs to dance to all night long

David Guetta’s “Nothing But The Beat” (Virgin Records) is a fun, light-hearted dance album but one without much depth. Still, some of the tracks are worth adding to any party playlist. Overall, the guest vocalists, particularly Akon and Taio Cruz, add to the danceable beats that Guetta has created.
